Colorist/Stylist

We are here! A salon that does it right for curls, kinks and waves. Our salon is the perfect fit for a stylist with pizzazz and skill who is not afraid of highly textured hair! We are looking for a hair designer with capabilities to perform modern coloring applications, cutting techniques, and artistic styling at our Buckhead location.

Our boutique salon aims to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and we are adding to our dynamic team to continue to foster this environment. Our focus is to expand our creative, fun, diverse and stylish team to deliver superior styling with a specialty in curls, kinks and waves, in addition to customer service for our long wait list of clients.

Requirements:
•Must have 1 year minimum active salon experience cutting and styling curls, kinks and waves or minimum 2 years experience as a professional Stylist.
•Must have a Georgia Cosmetology License.

The Retail Manager's primary responsibility is to drive customer service and sales through effective recruitment and development of Beauty Consultants and execution of merchandising and customer service standards. With extensive selling and product training, our Retail Managers, in partnership with their Beauty Consultants, practice superior selling techniques through advanced product knowledge and OUTSTANDING customer service. Our Retail Managers and their Beauty Consultants personally assist customers in customized hair care solutions and participate in the execution of special events/promotions to achieve personal and team selling and service goals. As a Retail Manager, you will be assigned to manage and develop the business of one of our prestigious retail locations. Your opportunities for career advancement are endless!

Full Time and Part Time Beauty Consultants

Urbanbella “the curly, kinky, wavy hair apothecary” is a retailer in providing customized product solutions for women with curly, kinky and wavy hair textures. We are currently seeking self-motivated sales consultants who possess the passion and desire to serve our customers in the beauty industry. Candidates must be energetic sales professionals with a desire to service clients in understanding their hair type and what products are best suited for their hair care needs.

Job Summary
The primary role of the Beauty Sales Consultant is to passionately educate and assist Urbanbella customers with managing and loving their curls, kinks and waves. This role is responsible for ensuring a superior customer experience by presenting hair care solutions via education, products and services offered at Urbanbella.

Job Accountabilities

• Provides welcoming, personal and professional service to all customers at all times while safeguarding the customer experience.
• Assists customers in purchase of hair care products for curly, kinky and wavy hair using the Urbanbella Five Curl Care Steps.
• Meets customer needs, offers product and service options, resolves problems with professional and knowledgeable customer service and with timely follow-up to customers.
• Performs strand-test applications and Product Consultations according to Urbanbella standards (2 styling products at half-way point on section of hair) to show customer desired result and educate on proper application.
• Ensures full customer satisfaction without unnecessarily referring customer to other staff members.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills, listen to the customer, ask questions, investigate preferences and make the experience interactive.
• Assists customers in locating merchandise, takes special orders, phone orders, answers questions, performs gift wrapping or other special services, communicates policies on returns and exchanges.
• Informs customers of available Urbanbella services, products, philosophies and special events.
• Seeks opportunities to make an emotional connection with the customer and ensure they have an exceptional girlfriend experience.
• Responds to customer e-mail inquiries and provide service and consulting needed to resolve customer needs.
• Maintains friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Meets individual responsibility for appropriate contribution to the team's goals in terms of service, sales and company objectives.
• Performs all cashiering functions in accordance with department and company cash handling policies and procedures.
• Uses appropriate verification procedures for credit card purchases.
• Keeps sales floor neat, clean and fully-stocked.
• Shelves new stock, informs buyers of fast- and slow-selling stock, maintains thorough knowledge of inventory.
• Ensures merchandise is attractively displayed.
• Assists with answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
• Complies with all company and department policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned or requested.
• Books and confirms both salon and consultation appointments.
• Assists Customer Experience team with customers.
• Obtains all customer data for Urbanbella customer database.
• Monitors for shoplifting.
• Performs administrative functions as assigned.
