African American women all over are stashing their straightening irons
and forgoing relaxer treatments as the newest hair trend means rocking
natural, curly, kinky do’s. Once again, bigger is better when it comes
to fabulous, free flowing hair!
On November 3rd 2007, Keneesha Hudson, owner of Urbanbella,
will be hosting a “How to Care for Your Natural Hair” seminar at
Atlanta’s first annual Natural Hair Affair. Keneesha, a leader in the
business of caring for natural hair, will share her expertise and tricks
of the trade for making natural hair healthy and beautiful. She will
address popular natural hair questions including when to get a trim, how
often to wash natural hair, how long to wait in between salon visits,
how to care for your child’s natural hair, which products are best for
color-treated natural hair, and many more!
Keneesha went natural herself five years ago, letting her chemically
processed hair grow out, embracing her new head of curls. In October
2006, inspired by the fun and freedom of natural hair, Keneesha launched
Urbanbella, a “hair apothecary” in the Atlanta Buckhead area that
specializes in curly, natural, and kinky hair. At Urbanbella,
customers can receive consultations, product demonstrations, and
invaluable advice about how to best care for their natural hair.
“How to Care for Your Natural Hair” is part of the day long Natural Hair
Affair event and will be taking place at approximately 12:50pm on
Monday November 3rd 2007 at the Crown Plaza Hotel (6345 Powers Ferry
Road) Atlanta, GA. To see Keneesha and other hair experts, register for
the Natural Hair Affair by logging on to
